The L Word

The L Word is an American co-production television drama series originally shown on Showtime portraying the lives of a group of lesbian, bisexual and transgender people and their friends, family and lovers in the trendy Los Angeles-area city of West Hollywood, California.

The Real L Word

The Real L Word: Los Angeles is an American reality television series airing on the cable station Showtime, where it premiered on June 20, 2010. The show was created by executive producer Ilene Chaiken and Magical Elves Productions, following the success of the television drama The L Word. The Real L Word follows a group of six lesbians in their daily lives in Los Angeles.

South of Nowhere

One of the main focuses include the relationship between Spencer Carlin (Gabrielle Christian) and her bisexual friend, Ashley Davies (Mandy Musgrave). The close friendship between the girls eventually led Spencer to question her own sexuality, a subject which created some controversy before the show's air date. It was the first series on The N to deal with such a subject relating to the main characters, and the first television show ever to have gay teenagers as the top-billed characters.

Sugar Rush

Sugar Rush is a British television comedy drama series developed by Shine Limited and broadcast by Channel 4, based on the Julie Burchill novel of the same name. It is centred around the life of a 15 year old lesbian Kim Daniels who at the beginning of series one moves from London to Brighton on the south coast of England.

Lip Service is a British television serial drama portraying the lives of a group of lesbian women in Glasgow, Scotland.

The show is still making NEW episodes, at the moment Lip Service is on episode 3 out of 6 so check out BBC Three to watch the show.

Bad Girls

Bad Girls is a British television drama series set in the fictional women's prison of Larkhall, and featured a mixture of serious and light storylines focusing on the prisoners and staff of G Wing.

An Unexpected Love

An unhappily married housewife and mother of two children (Leslie Hope) seperates from her husband and gets a new job where she developes a mutual attraction to her female boss (Wendy Crewson).


Fingersmith is a two-part BBC mini-series that was televised in 2005. The story, which is an adaptation of Sarah Waters' Man Booker Prize nominated novel, follows the meeting of two very different young women and what madness ensues.
